Eminem and music video director Joseph Kahn (who directed Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” with Kendrick Lamar) are producing a new movie, Billboard reports. Bodied, a battle-rap comedy and satire centered on race relations in America, will premiere next month at the Toronto International Film Festival. Watch the trailer below. Kahn, who also directed 2004’s Torque starring Ice Cube, developed the story with former rap battle champion Alex “Kid Twist” Larsen. Charlemagne the God, Debra Wilson, Anthony Michael Hall, Shoniqua Shandai, Alter Perez, Rory Uphold, Jackie Long, and Callum Worthy all appear in the film. Bodied will also feature battle circuit rappers Loaded Lux, Disaster, Dumbfounded, and Hollow Da Don.
In May, Eminem celebrated the 15th anniversary of The Eminem Show with special bundles including t-shirts, autographed posters, and the album on cassette. Recently, his definition of “stan” was officially adopted in the Oxford English Dictionary as “an overzealous or obsessive fan of a particular celebrity.”
